'GLAMOUR PUSS' CD ROM
Whilst other CD ROMs offered a supply of templates, they were not what we would call major ones. This new CD changes all of that.
This CD is suitable for model makers, cardmakers, scrapbookers (particularly Digital Scrapbookers), as a lot of the images are in PNG (Portable Network Graphic) file format. Now don’t gasp in horror wondering what this is; all it means is instead of images having a solid background as they have been flattened into a Jpeg format it means they have a transparent background, as our Glamour Puss above has. This allows those of you who use graphics programmes such as PSP, Ulead or Adobe PS or whatever digital camera imaging package you have, to layer one or more images next to or on top of each other or onto backing papers and create your own combinations for toppers, decoupage etc. The possibilities are endless. Also for those of you who just like to click and print as you normally would through your graphics programme or equivalent, the pngs still print exactly the same as Jpegs. They only show up differently on your computer with a transparent background. There are some Jpeg images on the CD which are combinations I have done. I have also included a ‘Shrinkies’ Section where I have chosen certain graphics and lightened them so you can print out onto Shrink Plastic if you like that sort of thing. I made some great jewellery with these and also from card and quadruple embossing to give a glossy ceramic tile look. Take a look at the promos. Although not all images and papers are featured on there, it gives you an idea.
The idea is to get your own creativity going on the computer but also for anyone who just wants it simple you can do that too. So don’t be afraid you may discover a whole new way of creating for your cardmaking. I think those of you who love making up the templates will love what is on this CD. The templates are in PDF format so you will need Adobe Reader but that is nothing new to those of you who buy CDs or Digital Downloads. I must stress that these template will not be available as hardcopies at all, they are exclusive to the CD only.
